Three kinds of people
use MCL Global

Most of our volume comes through recruitment agents, but students apply directly too, and universities appoint us to represent them in the markets where we have staff.

How it works

What actually happens
after you get in touch

No mystery, no black box. Six stages, and you can see where your file is at any point.

  1. We talkGrades, budget, where you want to go, what you actually want out of it. Free, and there is no obligation.
  2. We check before we submitDocuments and grades go against current entry criteria first, so applications do not fail on something avoidable.
  3. We apply and chaseSubmission to the university, then following it up. Through our partner agreements an offer often comes back inside 24 hours.
  4. VisaFinancial evidence, documents and the application itself, handled by people who do this every week.
  5. Before you flyAccommodation, travel and a briefing on what to expect when you arrive.
  6. After you landLocal offices in ten countries, so there is someone to call once you are there.

Why people use us

The parts that are
genuinely hard to do alone

  • Offers come back faster. We hold agreements directly with the institutions, so an application does not sit in a general inbox.
  • Someone checks the file first. Most rejections we see are avoidable — a missing document, a grade that never met the criteria.
  • Visas are the hard part. This is where applications fall over, and it is the part we spend the most time on.
  • There is an office near you. Nineteen of them, in ten countries, so you can walk in and sit down with someone.
  • You are not passed around. One counsellor or account manager keeps your file start to finish.

Common questions

Things people ask us

What does this cost a student?
Counselling and applications are free. We are paid by the universities when a student enrols. If anything ever would carry a fee, we tell you before you commit to it.
How fast can I get an offer?
Where we hold a direct agreement, a conditional offer often comes back within 24 hours of a complete application. Incomplete applications are the usual reason it takes longer.
I run an agency. How does this work?
You sign one agreement with us instead of chasing individual university contracts. You keep your student relationship; we handle admissions, compliance and follow-up. Commission terms are agreed in writing before you send anything.
Do you help with the visa?
Yes, and it is the part we spend most time on — financial evidence, documents and the application itself.
Where can I study?
The UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Cyprus, Türkiye, China, South Korea and across Europe.
Can you get me a scholarship?
Sometimes. Plenty of our partner institutions offer fee reductions and scholarships, and we will tell you which ones you are actually eligible for rather than list every scheme that exists.
